Evey's 3rd Christmas was lots of fun!  We don't think she was really anticipating the holiday, but she loved opening her presents both at home and at Nonnie & Poppie's house on Christmas morning.  And whenever we asked her to say Merry Christmas or mentioned Santa, she would chime in with "Ho, ho, ho".  She also loves to sing now ... and Jingle Bells sounds more like Jingle Balls.  She loves the Wheels on the Bus song, too.  And she's always asking to read books now, which is very good, but it does get tiring!!  We went to the library a few weeks ago to get some new ones, for a bit of a change!

Winter is here!  Although this past Saturday all the snow (and there was a lot of it) melted in a downpour of rain with temperatures reaching nearly 60.  It's back down to the high 20s-low 30s now.  It was actually quite nice today, brisk, but with the sun shining.  I am looking forward to skiing soon.  And in February we are taking a trip to the foot of the Smoky Mountains - a vacation for our birthdays.  I'm also looking forward to caving in April and May.
